 Oreo Tin $13.99 "I MUST HAVE OREO SANDWICH FOR DESSERT!"
"In July 1911 the National Biscuit Company named a chocolate sandwich cookie OREO Biscuit. Eight months later the OREO cookie was introduced to the American public. After 75 years OREO Chocolate Sandwich Cookies are the best selling cookies in the world." This gorgeous 1986 vintage tin is a replica of a 1918 Oreo Sandwich advertisement. It sits at 4 inches tall, 8 1/4th inches long and 6 1/4th inches wide. It came with 1 pound of the delicious cookies. Visually, it makes me very happy. The age and the feel that it gives off. The sense of traditionalism. Very beautiful. Can be used for its original purpose of storing cookies or set up on a shelf as a lovely addition to your collection (or perhaps the start.) It is in very good condition. No rust whatsoever. Minor scratching on the inside bottom, but that is to be expected considering its age and purpose. It has a message on the back which I quoted above and a brand seal.
